Who We Are

Our Mission

To grow spiritually through prayer, reflection, and service.

To offer tangible and spiritual support to those suffering and in need through person - to - person service.

To witness God's love by embracing works of charity and justice, making no distinction in those served.

To see in each person the face of Christ.

The society of St. Vincent de Paul is an all-volunteer organization that serves the poor and unfortunate here in Monroe County, Indiana. We are part of the International Society of St. Vincent de Paul founded in 1833 in Paris, France, but our local Conference began in 1992.

Although a primarily Catholic-led organization, we welcome volunteers who are dedicated to the principles of spirituality, friendship, and service.

We are old and young, students and retirees, married and single, all united in our mission to offer tangible and spiritual support to those suffering and in need.
